Partner driver terms
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms govern the relationship between Darlice and the partner drivers who carry out deliveries through the darlice.com website and the Darlice app. They are accepted by ticking the box provided at sign-up and apply in addition to the terms of use and the privacy policy.
1. Independent partner status
You work as an independent contractor, under the auto-entrepreneur status or any equivalent status allowing you to invoice delivery services. These terms create no employment contract, subordination or exclusivity between you and Darlice: you remain free to work for other platforms or customers.
You alone are responsible for:
- your tax and social obligations (declaring your turnover, taxes and contributions);
- your insurance, in particular third-party liability and vehicle insurance;
- holding a valid driving licence where your vehicle requires one;
- the compliance and good condition of your vehicle and equipment (helmet, lights, clean insulated bag).
2. Sign-up and documents
Your account is activated once Darlice has checked your file. From your driver space you provide:
- a valid identity document (national ID card or residence permit);
- your driving licence, for motorised vehicles;
- the vehicle registration certificate and insurance certificate, for motorised vehicles;
- your bank details (RIB) in your name, for the payment of your earnings.
You undertake to provide genuine documents and to update them as soon as they expire or change. Darlice may reject a file, request additional documents or suspend an account whose documents are no longer valid.
3. Availability and delivery offers
- You freely choose when you are available by going “online” or “offline” in your driver space. No schedule or minimum volume is imposed on you.
- While you are online, delivery offers are proposed to you. Each offer shows in particular the store, the destination, the distance and the expected earnings.
- You are free to accept or decline each offer. An offer left unanswered within the time shown is offered to another driver.
- Once you accept a delivery, you undertake to complete it diligently. If you are prevented from doing so, notify support immediately.
4. Earnings
For each completed delivery, you receive:
- a base fee per delivery and a per-kilometre fee, set by Darlice and shown in the offer before you accept it;
- 100% of the tips left by customers.
The rates may change; the amount that applies to a delivery is always the one shown in the offer you accepted. Your earnings per delivery and per week are available in your driver space.
5. Cash orders
For orders paid on delivery, you collect the amount shown from the customer. Cash collected is deducted from your earnings on the next payout.
If the cash collected exceeds your earnings, your balance becomes negative: you must settle it with Darlice as instructed by support. Darlice may limit cash orders offered to you, or suspend your account, until a negative balance is settled.
6. Payouts
Your earnings are paid weekly by bank transfer to the RIB saved in your space: the payout made on Monday covers the deliveries of the previous week, less the cash you collected.
A payout may be delayed if your bank details are missing or invalid, or during a check related to suspected fraud.
7. Location
While you are online, your location is collected continuously, including in the background in the mobile app, to offer you nearby deliveries, calculate distances and let the customer and the store follow the delivery. Collection stops as soon as you go offline.
Details of this processing are in the “Location data” section of the privacy policy (darlice.com/en/confidentialite#localisation).
8. Handing over the order
To confirm the handover, you enter the delivery code given by the customer. After several wrong codes, you are asked for a photo of the delivered order as proof of delivery.
Only mark an order as delivered once you have actually handed it to the customer or left it where they asked.
9. Code of conduct
You undertake to:
- follow food hygiene and safety rules: clean insulated bag, food protected from heat and dirt, prompt transport;
- never open bags or packaging sealed by the store, nor eat or remove any of their contents;
- behave respectfully and courteously towards customers, stores, support and other road users;
- obey the highway code;
- never ask the customer for a direct payment, extra charge or tip outside the app, nor offer deliveries outside the platform;
- use customers’ contact details only for the delivery in progress.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop at any time by going offline or deleting your account, after completing deliveries in progress and settling any negative balance.
Darlice may suspend or deactivate your account if you breach these terms, in particular: false or expired documents, fraud, unsettled negative balance, disrespectful or dangerous behaviour, breach of food safety, repeated and justified complaints. Except in an emergency or for a serious breach, you are told the reason and may submit your observations to support.
Earnings due for completed deliveries are paid after the relationship ends, less any amounts owed to Darlice.
11. Liability
You are responsible for damage caused during your deliveries, in particular to third parties or to the orders carried, within the limits set by law and your insurance.
Darlice provides the platform on a best-efforts basis and guarantees neither a volume of deliveries nor a service free of any interruption.
12. Changes
Darlice may update these terms. Any significant change is notified to you in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect; continuing your activity after that date means you accept it.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. The parties first seek an amicable solution; failing that, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca.
